Survivor (U.S.) Season 48 Epiosode 1
In the premiere episode of Survivor Season 48, titled “The Get to Know You Game,” 18 new castaways were divided into three tribes: Civa, Lagi, and Vula. The episode commenced with a marooning challenge, where the Lagi tribe secured an early victory, earning essential camp supplies. In a subsequent face-off for resources, Kevin of the Vula tribe overcame an initial shoulder injury to outpace Kyle from the Civa tribe, securing supplies for Vula.
At the Vula camp, strategic gameplay quickly unfolded. Sai discovered a hidden immunity idol with assistance from her tribemates, while Stephanie emphasized the importance of building authentic relationships over aggressive gameplay. This difference in approach led to tensions between Sai and Stephanie.
The immunity challenge saw Lagi and Civa tribes emerging victorious, sending Vula to Tribal Council. At Tribal, the clash between Sai’s strategic maneuvers and Stephanie’s social approach culminated in Stephanie playing her Shot in the Dark advantage, which proved unsuccessful. She was subsequently voted out, becoming the first contestant eliminated this season.
This opening episode set the stage for a season rich in strategic plays, alliance formations, and personal dynamics among the diverse castaways.
