The Amazing Race Season 37 premiered on March 5, 2025, introducing 14 teams embarking on a global adventure. The race commenced at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, California, where host Phil Keoghan unveiled a new twist: the “Fork in the Road,” leading to two simultaneous races and a double elimination in the first leg.
Teams were instructed to fly to Hong Kong, China, with the first seven teams securing seats on an earlier flight, gaining a time advantage over the remaining competitors. Upon arrival, they traveled to the Tian Tan Buddha to receive their next clue.
At this point, teams faced the “Fork in the Road” decision, choosing between two tasks: “Dance” or “Sing,” each limited to seven teams. The last team to complete each task would face elimination.
In the “Dance” route, Carson and Jack finished first, earning $3,000 each. They were followed by Brett and Mark in second place, with Ernest and Bridget securing third. Unfortunately, Mark and Larry were the last to complete the “Dance” task and were eliminated from the race.
In the “Sing” route, Alyssa and Josiah finished first, also earning $3,000 each. Jonathan and Ana secured second place, followed by Scott and Lori in third, and Pops and Jeff in fourth. Jackye and Lauren were the last to complete the “Sing” task and were subsequently eliminated.
