In Survivor Season 48, Episode 10, titled “My Enemies Are Plottin’,” the game intensified as alliances shifted and a fan-favorite was sent home.

Reward Challenge:

Kyle Fraser clinched victory in a physically demanding challenge that involved slithering through sand and dragging buoys. He chose to share his reward—a chicken and waffles feast—with Eva Erickson, Shauhin Davari, and Kamilla Karthigesu. This selection appeared strategic, aiming to solidify bonds within the dominant alliance and potentially sway Kamilla to their side.

Immunity Challenge:

The immunity challenge tested players’ dexterity and focus as they stacked blocks to spell “IMMUNITY” without toppling them. Joe Hunter secured his third individual immunity win, thwarting plans to target him and forcing the minority alliance to reconsider their strategy .

Strategic Maneuvers:

Post-challenge, the minority alliance—comprising Mary Zheng, Star Toomey, Kamilla, and Mitch—attempted to orchestrate a blindside against Joe. However, Joe’s immunity win disrupted their plan. Tensions escalated as Mitch, feeling marginalized, betrayed the alliance by siding with the majority, leading to confusion and mistrust among the outsiders .

Tribal Council and Elimination:

At Tribal Council, the focus shifted to either Mary or Star as the next target. Despite being in jeopardy, Star chose not to play her “Shot in the Dark,” expressing a desire to avoid paranoia. This decision proved costly, as she was voted out and became the fourth member of the jury .
